Description:
I was brought up in Snowdonia and following my graduation from Cumbria Institute of the Arts in 2006 and a period travelling in the Far East, I returned there to set up my studio.
I work in porcelain, ceramics alongside jewellery and painting.
My porcelain hanging sculptures are in colours and shapes evocative of the sea, plants and organic forms. I work with individual pieces that I hand sculpt, each piece is assembled to create one large piece from one to five feet in length. Alongside my sculptures I have started to make jewellery working with porcelain using similar shapes and inspiration taken from my sculptures.
My paintings are created using various mediums and are influenced by the natural world, wildlife and local scenery of North Wales, alongside a collection that has been inspired by my travel experiences.
