Mixed media using metals and found objects. Currently these are stone, silver, coal, felt, glass etc.

Clarrie Flavell studied applied arts at N.E.W.I, graduating in the summer of 2002. Specialising in metalwork and mixed media, she moved to Glascoed later that year, and set about building a workshop where she could continue her work.

It’s called the blue earthworm......partly because it’s below soil level in some places!

The blue earthworm workshop is situated just a mile off the A55, on the B5183. It is tucked into a tranquil corner, amongst fields, behind Bodelwyddan Castle.
