Brash king of old. Remnant of his romantically rendered.
Fruit for us.
Except there it's a yam!

I’d love a copy of this book. Do I have to find it? Any hints where? Is there a way to request one?
Diolch.

Hi Lynn, yes its easy. Just go to the ‘contact’ page (see tab on left) fill in your name and address, click the “Please send a copy of the Helfa Gelf Treasure Book to:” box, and press the send button. That’s all there is to it.

You might experience a burst of V twin powered hairy biker power since I have invoked the help of the HDRCGB to help me find the rings.
Gobbeldygook aside, thaks for the brochure and also the fun of the chase. I ain’t going to be here for the denouement, instead of digging for gold near Taliesin’s monument I’ll be thinking of you in a corner of a foreign field that is forever sunny. Hwyl i’chi pawb.

Great to have you on board, Johnathan, and the hairy mob. Floored me at first with “HDRCGB”, but anyway, think you should get yourself a car, pet.

I have found some clues on this website, can’t tell you where they are of course.
Hey Helfa Gelf people - how many clues are there all together, I’ve found some in the book as well, and am still confused as to where the treasure is buried. Do I have to visit every studio as well to get all the clues?

S’mae Gwain, we don’t know how many clues there are or where they are (only the cluemaster does) - that’s all part of the puzzle. We don’t know how many, or which studios have clues in.
All we know is that the more studios you visit the more chance you have of finding the treasure.
Hope that helps!

brilliant idea but i’m stumped.would like to know the solution when it’s finally found.

Linda, don’t give up! you just need to find more clues, maybe
May 18th, 20069:37 am at
Hey Linda,
I found 2 extra clues in 2 studios yesterday, I’m going out there again today to find more. I’m a bit stuck with the clues as well, but have a theory - I can’t tell you my theory (for obvious reasons), but it involves collecting all the clues, so hello 52 artists!

Message to those hunters trying to get artists to divulge their studio clues by email -they’re not telling! Instead, just keep seeking and you may find…

Linda - we do hope to publish a full ’solution’ once the treasure is found. So keep in touch.

I was walking in Llandudno and just came accross this weird thing just sitting there with people walking past. It was like an art piece or something, really beautiful made out of stones and matchboxes and odd things. But there were letters on the stones that spelled out words. I waited for ages but no-one was with it. Whoever had made it had just left it there. Something about the words made me think of this treasure hunt clues but it wasn’t one that I’d seen anywhere else- does anyone know if there are clues being left like this in ‘the land’ as it were?

Will, I saw that too, it was sitting on the wall by the prom, right? I thought it was something to do with the Mostyn Gallery. Are you telling what the words were?
August 20th, 20065:36 pm at
Somebody please put the words up or at least make sure we can find the clue some other way as not all of us can make it to Llandudno and will never know what it said!

Karen, I think this website is the key to your dilema. I see objects here that look like outside.

I’m guessing it was one of Tim’s pieces, hoping to visit the Royal Cambrian over the bank holiday weekend anyway.

I know it says visiting studios may provide extra clues, but what I would like to know is … can this puzzle be solved if I only have the book and the website to refer to?

Everything is possible, Frank.
